"My mother gave me an incredible gift -- she spoke powerful language into existence -- calling me a genius long before I knew what that was. Her confidence in me enabled me to see my own brilliance at a very early age. I want to pass that on. My father gave me the other important piece: he had his own ceramic tile business, which showed me that entrepreneurship was not just desirable but the only way to have personal and financial freedom. My brothers, through their athleticism and charisma, showed me what it looks like when you "love what you do". My sister, and dear friend, taught me what womanhood is all about.
